Rare design solutions in the RAE-3 watch

If we were to go through the features of the RAE-3 watch a little... Not so much the technical details that have already been announced, but more about the design solutions.

The dial is a single piece. This is very rare considering the 3D shapes. Usually such complex shapes are made in layers with several different parts. In order to make a part of a single piece, it was quite difficult to achieve sufficient quality and price. But in the end this was successful and every RAE-3 watch owner can enjoy the different lights and reflections given by the shapes. In different conditions, the watch can seem very different. This is a feature of the watch that will be enough to enjoy for a long time.

The watch body is undeniably something that can be called new. The idea of the design project was specifically to create a new and unique body. One unique feature is the removable lugs. Because of the lugs, the length of the watch from lug to lug became a little over 50mm.  Possibly an unnecessarily large number, but on the other hand, the interest in creating a new case was strong because cases tend to be very similar these days, so we went with this one. And since the lugs are removable, they can be replaced without having to replace the entire watch. In any case, the case with the dial really creates a unique whole.

It should be mentioned that the crown of the watch is specially designed to be large and provide a firm grip.

In general, the quality of the watch was decided to achieve a kind of entry-level luxury. In terms of price and watch movement, this is not the case. However, the design and finish of the watch is of such a class that it does not pale in comparison to significantly more expensive watches. The watch movement has been able to surprise positively and we can say that it is excellent in its price range. The movement truly deserves its premium specification.
