Intentional flat caseback

Intentional flat caseback

The caseback does affect a lot how the watch feels on your wrist. What else really affects to it? The weight of the watch of course but what else? This thing was specifically taken account when the watch was being designed. The watch started to look like a hefty one, so it was deemed that I had to try to make it as comfortable as possible when you wear it.

The mentioned was done by making the caseback to be one big flat area so the weight of the watch would be distributed as evenly as possible on the whole surface of the wrist, where the caseback touches it. The lugs geometry was also made as such, that the lugs would help press the watch, also, evenly on the wrist.

Personally I would say that the watch does not feel heavy or cause me to feel pressure on the wrist even worn day after day from dawn to dusk. So I would feel that the design is comfortable and therefore successful.

Have a nice day,

J
